Application:

Ice bank silo tanks are used for accumulation of cooling energy by means of ice building. The melting of ice provides ice water at a temperature of maximum +1°C which is used for production processes:

• Dairies

• Breweries

• Air-conditioning

• Chemical industry

In addition to ice bank  silo tanks we can also deliver the unit for cooling the water and glycol mixture used for  ice building to the silo. This refrigerating unit can be supplied in the reciprocating or  screw design for ammonia R-717 or another environmentally acceptable refrigerant. The  units can also be supplied in a container including an evaporative condenser or a cooling  tower of standard dimensions.
